How it works from Scotland
1. Start your case — Complete the recovery assessment form with what’s happened and what the drive is doing. We review every case properly before replying — you’ll get the likely pricing tier and clear next steps, with no obligation.
2. Send us your drive — Most Scottish customers use Royal Mail Special Delivery: book the label online and drop your parcel at any Post Office or drop-off point — insured, tracked, and next-day from anywhere in mainland Scotland. Prefer collection? We can arrange UPS door-to-door pickup for £14.95 — Glasgow tenement or Highland farmhouse, it’s the same service. Pack the drive in a box with plenty of bubble wrap — not a padded envelope.
3. Approve, recover, return — We assess the drive, confirm a firm quote, and only proceed once you approve it. Recovered data is returned on new media by tracked courier. If we can’t recover meaningful data, there’s no recovery fee.

Why not use a data recovery company in Scotland?

How long does the round trip take from Scotland?
Shipping adds a day each way at most. On our standard service, assessment typically happens within 3–7 business days of your drive arriving, with typical completion in 6–10 business days. Faster priority levels are available if you need results urgently — timescales are indicative and depend on the condition of the drive.
My RAID or NAS has failed — can you handle multi-drive systems?
Yes — RAID and NAS recovery is a core specialism, including systems other companies have declined or attempted. Power the system down, leave it down, and start with the recovery assessment form; rebuilding or re-initialising a degraded array is the most common way data gets destroyed before it reaches us.
What does it cost?
Logical recoveries start from £350 and mechanical recoveries from £450, both including VAT. RAID, NAS and complex cases are quoted individually. You’ll always receive a firm quote for approval before any chargeable work begins — and if we can’t recover meaningful data, there’s no recovery fee, so a drive posted from Scotland risks only the postage.
